I sit and think... When I look at the cross of another, I forget to look at my own. But, often, I can only look at the cross of another very little, or not at all, because it is bigger than my cross, and I cannot bear it... Then it means I must do as Saint Gavrilia, 'the ascetic of love,' said: to place the other's cross, his trouble, his temptation, at the feet of Christ.
Oof, Lord, I have no spiritual wisdom, I have no discernment!
That doesn't mean you shouldn't do what you can, yeah...

Someone told me that those around whom spiders live are very proud. Someone else clarified that it cannot be true, because especially in the countryside, spiders come and enter houses. And we always have spiders in the house! Is it because we live in the countryside, or because we are proud?
Unfortunately, I do have problems with pride, so I was told. But I would like to understand in what sense. Sometimes I feel it, but I can't help myself... The Lord works!

I want to vacuum, but there's peace and quiet in the living room, among the 'beasts'... I don't even like calling animals that − we have a little dog and two cats. Sometimes I can call myself a 'beast,' but most of the time the Lord helps me a lot to understand that I cannot call any person that.
We also have hens. We will keep them as long as they live.
