The courage to allow ourselves to be embraced by God

„We live in hurried times, where the soul always lags behind. Today's man knows much, does much, but feels little. He chases after security and loses peace, seeks control and loses his heart.
The heaviest illnesses are not seen in lab tests, but in the absence of meaning, in the weariness of loving, in the fear of being with oneself. We have become ill with loneliness, with comparison, with distrust. It is hard for us to remain silent, to cry, to ask for help anymore. And then the soul cries out through restlessness, through anxiety, through a sadness that doesn't know why it's there.
Healing begins slowly, with gentleness and truth. Not with force, not with judgment, not with quick fixes. The soul heals when it is listened to, when it is loved unconditionally, when it allows itself to be fragile.
God does not demand performance from us, but a living heart. He asks us to stop for a moment, to breathe, to turn towards Him as we are, not as we think we should be.
Where there is truth and humility, grace works quietly. And even in these troubled times, peace can be born, if we have the courage to let ourselves be held in God's arms.”
