From the Realms of Shadow

The dragon from fairy tales pounces
To violently seize the maiden
From her kin and carry her off
To a land of which no one
Dares to approach.

In other fairy tales, we are told
How Cosânzeana locks the dragon
In a chamber of the palace
Which is beyond the world.

As in a mirror, each one
Would want to keep him forever
Captive, the other, but time
Unstoppable, opens the way
For the brave one who dares
To free the beautiful maiden.

But the enemy hides,
Until one day, when the newcomer
Unlocks the forbidden door,
Allowing the dragon to escape.

But how is it that the hero
Fights and kills
The immaterial apparition
From the lands of shadow?

And from there, how does he manage
To return the lady
To the life from which she was snatched?
Only if dying, he revives...
