Love that asks for nothing, but gives everything.

„The greatest suffering of man is not physical pain, but the lack of meaning, the emptiness in the soul, the inability to love and be loved. And this void is filled by no one else but God. It is not filled by success, nor by family, nor by achievements. All these are good, but if they are without Christ, they become burdens, sources of restlessness and worry.
Therefore, the soul must learn to live from the presence of God. Not from emotions, not from praise, not from what it achieves, but from meeting God in prayer. To feed on His Word, to lean on His Cross, to give Him your burdens.
When we begin to do this, we change profoundly. We no longer beg for attention, we no longer want to please everyone, we no longer worry excessively. We gain an inner freedom that comes only from true love, the love that asks for nothing, but gives everything: the love of God.”
