their chess pieces remained spread out on the table
and some unwashed dishes…
I get into my pajamas,
and I undo my bun, tightly braided during the day.
I glance at myself for a moment in the mirror:
well, another day has passed!
again I was the mother who doesn't know
how to long endure…
the bun is now loose.
I am one day closer to death
and one step further
from the Kingdom.
I don't play chess,
but I am checkmated again.
