Do we attend the Divine Liturgy with this yearning?

„The Divine Liturgy is an engagement, a wedding with Christ. It takes us into His Kingdom.

Then, when we leave the church, we go home with our passions and our sins, with our state of misery. It doesn't matter anymore. We will go again to the Divine Liturgy, we will grasp Christ again, and He will deify us.

And so, with a continuous and constant struggle, with the priest leading the way and us following him, we will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Do we go to the Divine Liturgy with this longing?

We hope to obtain the heavenly Kingdom.”
