I would like to tell you in more detail about the miracle from the day I was almost run over by a car.
After I returned to the Church, I had started reading more and more books, and that's how I also learned about the Jesus Prayer, that you can say it anywhere. But I guess it didn't stay in my mind that you need a spiritual guide...
I was saying it silently.
On that day, I was in an area with a two-way street for cars, and with two lanes in each direction. So you had to be very careful when crossing, because when a driver stops in the first lane, that doesn't automatically mean that the driver in the second lane will also stop.
I don't remember if there was a traffic light or not. But even if there was, sometimes it doesn't work. Anyway, I pay attention to traffic lights.
So, I was getting ready to cross at the pedestrian crossing, saying the Prayer silently. I crossed the first two-lane direction, stopped on the tram tracks in the middle, looked to the right to make sure, and saw that only on the lane next to me was a car coming, and on the second lane, nothing was coming.
The approaching car stopped so I could cross. And, just as I was getting ready to take the step, to pass beyond the stopped car, from nowhere a speeding car full of men appeared.
At that moment, I realized that I first turned my head towards them, with my mouth agape, shocked by what could have happened to me. In the next hundredth of a second, I realized I was being held from behind, from somewhere above, somehow suspended in the air and leaning a little forward – that was my position at the moment I was taking the step. Then I felt myself being put down, on my feet, in an upright position.
The two people in the stopped car were not disturbed at all, as if nothing had happened, as if they hadn't noticed anything.
In the other story, I wrote that the men in the car that almost ran me over turned their heads towards me, laughing diabolically. At that moment, I thought that it was as if they weren't men, but "someone else" with men's faces. It was extremely strange.
After I felt my whole foot placed on the asphalt, I was in shock, as if time had stopped. I wanted to shout about the miracle I was allowed to experience to those in the stopped car: "Hey, did you see the miracle? Do you know what happened to me?", but I crossed further, looking one more time before crossing.
