You cannot lose your way in the world
Through which the Lord has passed,
Making Himself the Way.
If you get lost in the darkness
The sign of a glimmer emerges,
If you are broken in a fall,
The abyss reveals itself to be
A shortcut to light.
The hand of a stranger
Holds you tightly and brings you
As if by miracle to safety,
The smile, the care, the comfort
Of a loved one or a stranger
Give you strength to rise.
Don't you feel now that the time is coming
For you to be His servant too?
