Since childhood, I have longed for a friend, in the true sense of the word, not just an acquaintance. I didn't have one.
Then I met someone here in Germany whom I called a “friend,” because we read the same books and laughed a lot together, we somewhat advised each other, but the core of friendship, or the fullness of friendship, was missing. There were temptations and spiritual pains. But she left... and I miss her terribly.
I had read in a book that having a friend is a gift from God.
I started praying to have a friend, then I prayed that I could also be a true friend to someone. Then I prayed to meet someone from whom I could learn good things, to change me, to influence me for the better, to start on the path of spiritual life. Is what I'm thinking now called audacity?...
These days, the thought came to me that God gifted me Pridvorul as an answer to my prayers. Every day I can't wait to meet you, to see you through what you write!
