VIDEO! The Beauty of Saint Demetrius the Theologian

Because tomorrow, October 4th, we celebrate Saint Father Confessor Dumitru Stăniloae, we offer you a wonderful word from another “beautiful theologian,” Costion Nicolescu, from a conference held in Iași on May 15th, 2025, one month before his passing to the Lord. Thus, the light of Saint Father Dumitru appears filtered through Costion’s stained glass window, already illuminated by the proximity of the world beyond. “Beauty will save the world” (F.M. Dostoevsky), for “God enraptures us through His goodness and beauty and through the inclination placed in our nature towards gaining complete goodness and beauty, in union with God” (Saint Maximus the Confessor).
