On the occasion of the feast of the most beloved saint by Romanians everywhere, we invite you to watch a film based on the life of Venerable Mother Parascheva of Iași: „A Cross in the Desert”. The director, Hadži Aleksandar Djurovič, based it on the novel „Venerable Parascheva” by writer Ljiljana Djurovič.

A Serbian-Jordanian co-production by Aleksandrija Film and Jordan Pioneers.

To our Most Venerable Mother, the greatly merciful Parascheva, we, unworthy sinners, offer a tribute of humility for her intercessions. For we have been deemed worthy to receive great gifts from the ever-flowing fount of goodness of our Savior, and let us sing to her: Rejoice, Saint Parascheva, most beneficial one!
