„Saint Callinicus of Edessa (†August 8) had a saying that he often repeated: Heaven will speak! When someone says these words, it means they exercise great patience; they do not want to solve their problems on their own, but know that God exists and they have patience, and in the difficulties they go through in life, they say: God will speak. And God indeed speaks − in various ways. One is when His own voice is heard, another is when life's events unfold in such a way that situations and the parameters of the problem change, other solutions emerge, and somehow one ends up being vindicated before others.

He who suffers, is tormented, tried, when he says that heaven will speak − in other words, that God will reveal His will −, shows his faith in God, his love for God, his patience and long-suffering. He recognizes that there are not only natural laws, but also spiritual laws, and that God is the One who works in our lives.

May God grant that we too say these words from the bottom of our hearts and have such inner purity that we may hear God's voice and fulfill His word! Therefore, in all the problems we encounter in life, let us live with this conviction: that heaven will speak”.
