The Vestibule at the Gate of Heaven

Publish Date

A year of Pridvor... What joy! May you have many bright and abundant years in grace!

I haven't been in Pridvor since its beginnings, but for a few months now, I've been happily sitting at the table with those who write or spiritually nourish themselves with the words of this space of peace. For this, I thank Anca Stanciu, who invited me to be part of the team that brings light to Pridvor. I was incredibly happy when it was proposed to me, because I like to write, but I lacked the motivation to do it consistently. Now I have it, and besides that, I am also grateful for the spiritual nourishment I receive by reading the articles in Pridvor.

I see and feel this site as a Pridvor that stands at the gates of Heaven, without exaggerating. Through the articles I receive, I taste the joy of Heaven, I nourish myself with the grace of the Holy Spirit which quiets the hunger in my soul for a while, and thus I can move forward on days when the path is more arduous...

I have a published article in which I wrote about the beauty that will save the world, the one Dostoevsky spoke about, but which I first feel saves my soul. Pridvor has become part of that beauty! I find myself in every article that describes events or vivid experiences of those who write. It always amazes me that my feelings are similar to those who have contributed, by recounting their experiences, to the beautification of Pridvor. But I also abundantly water my soul with the words of the Saints that are published on the site. Most of the time, I feel that those words were spoken for me. They answer my questions, enlighten me, comfort me, and strengthen me to be able to step further on the path to Heaven.

Pridvor is a dance (hora) of luminous people, formed by all those who write and read the articles. Those beautiful people for whom my soul longed.

Thank you all, and may God grant us to continue this dance of heavenly joy, by His grace, for as long as possible! Glory to God for this wonderful work He does in Pridvor!

“Acei oameni frumoși de care sufletul meu a fost însetat” exact exact și fix așa! Și totuși, cum se face căăăă, pe măsură ce mă satur de oamenii-lumină ai Pridvorului, parcă și mai sete mi-e de ei?!
